Lotr mod latest download

When I last downloaded the LOTR Mod, I installed the mod using the Minecraft 1.13 launcher. The launcher stayed the same until the Minecraft 14.4 update came out. Now the launcher is confusing to use and I have zero ideas on how to download the mod using it. The main issue for me is the game directory.
